1. What This Website Is
This private reference site is independent of every government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or submits filings.
Its guides point to CA DOJ, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the California Megan's Law Website, California courts, and local sources in all 58 counties. The California Public Records Act, Government Code §7920.000 et seq., does not make confidential CA DOJ summary criminal history public under Penal Code §11105. Some pages also connect visitors with independently operated search tools.
2. Rules for Using This Site
You agree that you will not:
- Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
- Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
- Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
- Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
- Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
- Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it
3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to threaten, intimidate, stalk, harass, or discriminate against anyone. California Penal Code section 290.46 imposes special restrictions and potential penalties for misuse of California Megan's Law Website information. The registry supports personal and community safety, not vigilantism or prohibited decision-making.

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind.
